As much as I love summer, one of the things I miss about the colder months is that I can always look forward to weekly doses of trashy, addicting television. (Gossip Girl, I’m looking at you.)
America’s Next Top Model is another one I miss, mostly because Tyra banks is absolutely and completely insane. Without fail. To fill that Tyra-sized void in my heart, dear readers, I present this clip from her talk show. Keep watching through, because it only gets better near the end.
Oh hay there, guess what? I’m not sitting in my room feeling the intense boredom of unemployment! Guess where I am.
I’m on a freakin’ BUS.

That’s right. I’m on my way down to NYC to visit a couple friends and not only does the BoltBus have free wifi and outlets at each comfy seat, but the whole thing is only costing me $30 round trip! If I had gotten my tickets earlier it could have been as low as $2. And, since the bus is owned by Grey Hound and not Fung Wah or Lucky Star I feel at least 99% confident that my bus will not spontaneously burst into flames at some point on my journey.
Alright I’m going to go before more people realize that I’m the obnoxious girl blogging about the bus while she’s on the bus.
PS - Comments are back for a trial run.
You can all expect a really high turnout of blog posts in the next week since Justin is taking grad classes from 9 am - 9 pm until next Saturday and Nicky is in Disney with her family until next Sunday.
After my not so good Boston experience yesterday, I wanted to share an excellent one I had later on in the day. I was wandering around Harvard Square trying to find a Bank of America ATM (they’re never too far away) enjoying the sun and families and tourists. I stopped to listen to pair of street performers sing “It’s all Over Now, Baby Blue,” which happens to be one of my favorite songs. As much as I love me some Bobby D, I was starving and needed cash, so I headed down the street to pick up my ATM search. I sad when I turned the corner and the sound of the performers faded completely and I was overtaken by another duo… until I realized they were near the end of the exact same song! They also happened to be camped out right in front of a Bank of America. Wonderful.
They were on a Dylan kick, and one of them looked like John Lennon circa 1980, so I got my cash and stayed to be serenaded by “Just Like a Woman” and “Quinn the Eskimo.”

Dylan fans #2

My grilled cheese sandwich, because it really was that good.
